We help women
in red states afford long-term birth control!
By partnering with people and clinics directly, BodyGuard Contraceptive Access Fund helps women and people with periods afford the costs of long-lasting birth control methods. Our mission is to expand access to these contraceptives without creating excessive paperwork at the same time!

What do we
mean by "long-term
birth control"?
We're talking about Long Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARCs) which include:

The non-hormonal copper IUD (Paraguard)

The four types of hormonal IUDs
(Mirena, Kyleena, Liletta and Skyla)

The "Arm Implant"
The etonogestrel single-rod contraceptive (Nexplanon)

Why only these types of birth control?
Our decision to only fund these three contraceptives was based on our business model, research, and personal experience and should not be taken as an endorsement of these types of birth control over others - believe me, we're definitely not doctors!
We decided to fund these because they last for more than five years each, have extremely high rates of effectiveness and their costs are all upfront and relatively high which can be a barrier to some. But, please do your research and consult with your doctor before choosing a birth control option!
Do you fund abortions?
Nope, only the three types of contraceptives listed above.
Frequently asked questions
Where does your funding come from?
Donations and purchases!
At moment we are launching sales of our merchandise on social medial platforms for people to purchase as a means of donating money to our fund. At least 90% of the profits from these sales will go to covering people's long-term birth control expenses, and the remaining 10% or less will cover our administrative costs.
